Yorkshire Tea: March 10th

Returning to the original concept we had for Yorkshire tea, of using photographs. Since we thought it was the strongest, and overall it made sense as it had a lot of options open for later: such as changing the photographs to match the season, competitions for people to put their photographs on, photographs of monuments and famous land marks. It has a lot of potential that would best celebrate the culture of Yorkshire and in doing so advertise what Yorkshire tea is about.

I wanted to see what the packaging would look like with the current illustration, It looks a lot better admirable. I really love the packaging with the photograph though, however I what we need to do now is find the photograph which will sell it best.

The red lip around the edge came from the limitation of photography, with illustrations the wrap around was seemless, it would be incredibly hard to recreate that look with photography in the same vein, so from that the lip is needed to create a border. However, this is only on the top lid, underneath the photography still wraps around the box seamlessly with a panoramic shot.
